Typical Chinese-Americans were taught to help their parents in working during the week and if they had school they went to normal schools and then they'd go to a Chinese school that helped them learn about their traditional culture. On the weekends some of the families would go out on Saturdays for fun and on Sundays they would go to church. Life for the typical Chinese-Americans revolved around family. You can tell it revolves around family because many businesses had their family members working with them and they were also taught about Confucius and one of the main things about Confucius was that it was centered around family and respect for elders.

Front

A few of the speakers arguments are based on prejudice. He talks about how if they were white no one would be complaining about them as much as they do which, for some reason, hints to me that it may be true but it might not always be true.
