One of my notable accomplishments during this role was achieving 20 new successes in business/commercial contracts and investments for 16 companies/entities, valued at approximately USD 8 million. I was recognized as a Top Performing Innovation Manager out of 44 global offices, and I played a key role in elevating our office's ranking from Top 15 to Top 10 globally.

One of my major responsibilities was to identify Israeli technologies and solutions that accurately matched the needs of Singaporean companies. By leveraging my expertise in business development, market analysis, and partnership development, I successfully connected Israeli companies with investors, distributors, and customers in Singapore. Through innovative and actionable strategies, I facilitated numerous valuable partnerships that contributed to the growth and success of both Israeli and Singaporean businesses.

Moreover, I had the opportunity to work with international team members from export and trade departments of more than 8 countries simultaneously. Elaborate on the colleague situation

Front

It was really more the actual work that was the larger issue but with the team, I felt that the working styles and communication preferences were different. I’m a very open and communicative person, and value collaboration over competition and I tried to smooth over the differences by attempting to communicate. I recognize the importance of collaboration and effective information flow in achieving collective goals. I proactively engaged with my colleagues and sought to understand their perspectives on matters and put in the effort to promote open communication. While I made efforts to bridge the communication gap, it became apparent that there were underlying factors contributing to the issue that were beyond my control. While the decision to leave the previous job was a difficult one, I firmly believe that it was in the best interest of both myself and the organization to find a work environment where my skills and communication style align more effectively with the team dynamics. Looking forward, I’m looking for a company culture that believes in open communication and collaboration, where team members share information openly to drive success collectively.

  • time management
    • One area where I continuously strive to improve is time management. With my diverse experience in various sectors and roles, I often find myself juggling multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously. While I have developed effective prioritization and organizational skills over the years, there have been instances where I felt the need to further refine my time management strategies to ensure optimal efficiency.
    • To address this weakness, I have implemented various techniques, such as utilizing productivity tools, setting clear goals and deadlines, and breaking down complex tasks into manageable steps. Additionally, I have sought mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals who have shared valuable insights on effective time management practices. By actively working on this weakness, I have seen significant improvements in my ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

I believe that acknowledging our weaknesses and actively working on them is essential for personal and professional growth. By continually striving to enhance my time management skills, I am confident that I can further increase my productivity and contribute even more effectively to the success of my future endeavors.

  • lack patience
    • One weakness I have identified is occasional impatience. At times, I find myself wanting to see immediate results or progress, which can lead to frustration when things don't move as quickly as I would like. I have been developing strategies such as setting realistic timelines, practicing patience, and focusing on the process rather than solely the end result. I believe self-awareness and continuous improvement are key in addressing and overcoming this weakness.
