هَؤُلَآءِ هُمُ الْمُدَرِّسُوْنَ
these are the teachers
إِنَّهُمْ فِتْيَةٌ
verily they are a group of young men
أَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ
her eyes are humbled
إِنَّ اللهَ رَبِّي
verily Allah is my Master
هَذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ
this is from the work of the shaytan
اَللَّهُ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ
Allah is the knower of the unseen

those are the companions of the fire
هَذِهِ أَنْعَامٌ

this is the she-camel of Allah
كَأَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ
as though you are a recipient
أَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُسْرِفُوْنَ
all of you are an extreme nation
يَعْقِلُون
those who understand
اِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا
verily success is for the people of taqwa
أُولَءِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ
those are the companions of the fire
نَهَار
daytime
هَذَانِ خَصْمَانْ
these are two arguers
هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ
this tree
اَنَّ فِيْكُمْ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ
that among all of you is the messenger of Allah
ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ
that is better
هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ
both of these are arguers
هَذَا الَّذِيْ
this is the one who
خَلَقَ
He created
هَذِهِ بِضَاعَتُنَا
these are our goods/merchandise
يَتَفَكَّرُون
those who ponder
تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ
those are the miracles of the book
اِنَّ اللهَ قَادِرٌ
verily Allah is capable
تِلْكَ الدَّارُ
that house
هَذَا سَاحِرٌ عَلِيْمٌُ
this is a knowledgable magician
هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ
this quran
خَلْق
creation
هَذَاصِرَاطٌ
this is a path
هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةُ
this town/village
رَبُّنَا رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَ رْضِ
our Master is the Master of the skies and the earth
اللهُ مُحِيْطٌ بِالْكَافِرِيْنَ
Allah is surrounding the disbelievers
اَظَّالِمُوْنَ فِيْ ضَلَالٍ مُبِيْنٍ (atthaalimuuna fee dalaalimmubeen)
the wrong doers are in obvious confusion
تِلْكَ آيَاتُ اللهِ
those are the signs of Allah
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ
that is a nation
أَلْسِنَة
languages
ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى
that is closer
اَلْأَنْفَالُ لِلَّهِ (al anfaalu lillah)
the spoils are for Allah

mighty
مِن تُرَابٍ
from earth/clay
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا
and one of His signs is that He created mates for you from yourselves
حَيّ
living
حَكِيم
all wise
رِّيَاحَ
winds
أَنْ خَلَقَكُم
that He created you all
بَصِير
all seeing
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ تُرَابٍ
and from His signs (is) that He created you all from dust
إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ
certainly in that
اِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
verily in that is a sign for people who know
قَيُّوم
self subsisting
مَنَامُ
sleep
خَبِير
all aware
سَمِيع
all hearing
رَؤُف
kind, affectionate
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ مَنَامُكُم بِا الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَار
and one of His signs is your sleep by night and (by) day
غَفُور
most forgiving
اِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
most surely there is a sign in this for you, if you are believers
شَئْ

لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
for people who understand
يُرْسِلَ
He sends
اسْتَغْفِر
(I/you) seek forgiveness
يَسْمَعُونَ
they all listen
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ
and of of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your tongues and colours
عَلِيم
all knowing
اِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
certainly in that are signs for people who understand
اِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
certainly in that are signs for people who ponder
وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ آيَاتٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ
and (in) the changing of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand

خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ
creation of the heavens

all powerful
لَآيَاتٍ
certainly are signs
يَعْلَمُونَ
those who know
خَافَ

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ
and from His signs
عَلِيّ
the exalted
أَنفُسِكُمْ
yourselves
حَمْد
praise
اِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآيَةً لِّمَنْ خَافَ عَذَابَ ا الآخِرَةِ
most surely there is a sign in this for him who fears the punishment of the hereafter
كُنتُم
you all
اِخْتِلَافُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ
differences of your languages and colours
عَالَمِين
worlds
ما

إلاَّ
except
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَن يُرْسِلَ الرِّيَاحَ
And one of His signs is that He sends forth the winds
مُبْصِرًَا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ
most surely there are signs in it for a people who listen
